With more than 34 years of experience as a dental assistant, your smile is in good hands with Laurie. She enjoys working with Dr. Schaffeld to give patients the thoroughly personalized dental care they need, and one of her favorite aspects of her job is experiencing new challenges and opportunities each day! As for life outside the office, she has been married for 26 years, she has a Black Lab named Mex, and she enjoys hiking, camping, and golfing.
Ashley has been with our team since 2018, and patients quickly learned that they can rely on her to keep them safe, comfortable, and smiling throughout their time in the dental office. Ashley attended Linn-Benton Community College, and she’s trained as an expanded functions orthodontic assistant. Originally from Corvallis, Oregon, Ashley is married with two children, two dogs, two fish, and one cat. She likes to go hiking in her free time when she’s not at work or spending time with her friends and family.
Chelsea is one of our dental hygienists. Since joining the team in 2018, Chelsea has greatly enjoyed getting to know our patients, so she can help them achieve their oral healthcare goals. Chelsea studied at Lane Community College, and she has her nitrous oxide certification and her expanded practice and restorative function permits. She is happily married to Travis, and they have a beautiful daughter, Hallie. During the evenings and weekends, she also likes spending time in the woods, hunting, and fishing. Here’s a fun fact about her: she has a mini pig named Wilbur!
Debbie’s career in the dental field spans nearly 30 years so far. Prior to joining our team, she attended Oregon State University and Oregon Health Science University. Today, she can administer nitrous oxide, she has undergone training in dental lasers, amalgam polish, and saliva testing for periodontitis, and she is CPR certified. However, her favorite part of being a dental hygienist is getting to know the patients!
In her free time, Debbie enjoys spending time with family, camping, hunting, fishing, and ranching. When asked to share a fun fact about herself, she shared, “I love my career and our community!”
Since Jessie works at the front desk, she’ll probably be the first smiling face you see when you come in for your appointment! She has more than twelve years of experience in the dental field, and she’s undergone training in everything from radiology to dental assisting. She genuinely loves interacting with our patients, making them feel comfortable, and being a part of their journey to a healthier smile!
At home, Jessie and her husband have three dogs, Dixie, Tex, and Hank. She also has lots of interests outside of dentistry, including rafting, hunting, singing, and working in the yard.
